Hello Cosmic Creatures! My name is Rosie and I’m a space artist, content creator, S.T.E.A.M. advocate…and just a big sci-fi nerd! 

 

I am designer and creator of Planet Exophilia, a brand of space art and fashion designed for the cosmic alien in all of us.

​Passionate about creativity and space, I am a seasoned digital artist with over 10 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and creative direction. With a strong foundation in digital art, I founded and led a successful photography business for 15 years, where I honed my skills in marketing, community building, and collaboration. In 2020, driven by my deep-seated passion for space exploration, I made a bold transition from fashion photography to the aerospace industry.

My journey into science communication began in 2015 when I hosted nightly star parties at Tucson’s Sky Bar, the world’s only solar-powered astronomy bar. Over the course of 6 years, I engaged hundreds of community members through innovative events and outreach programs, even catching the attention of Buzzfeed. Now, as a space artist, content creator, and S.T.E.A.M. advocate, I’m leveraging my creative storytelling skills to support the vision of millions working in the space industry for the benefit of Earth.

Committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, I aim to inspire gender minorities and marginalized groups to pursue careers in S.T.E.A.M., particularly those with creative passions like mine. I’m living proof that it’s never too late to follow your dreams because there is space for all of us.
