Hello Cosmic Creatures! My name is Rosie and I’m a space artist, content creator, S.T.E.A.M. advocate…and just a big sci-fi nerd! 

 

I am designer and creator of Planet Exophilia, a brand of space art and fashion designed for the cosmic alien in all of us. I got my start in the space community in 2015 as a science communicator, hosting nightly star parties at Tucson’s Sky Bar, the only solar powered astronomy bar in the universe! Throughout my 6 years at Sky Bar I hosted countless events attended by hundreds of people in the community and was even featured on Buzzfeed for my outreach programs.

 

I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Art. In 2020 I decided to left a 14 year career as a fashion photographer behind me to pursue space! I now work in the space industry as a space artist, media manager, science communicator, & content creator….and any other creative roles my skills can fulfill! 

 

Although space is why I am here, I am also passionate about advocating for those that are under represented. I hope to inspire gender minorities and marginalized groups to also pursue careers in S.T.E.A.M, especially creatives like me! I am lucky enough to be living proof that it’s never too late to pursue what you love because there is space for all of us.
